I picked up an ICECO VL45 fridge and Anker Solix C2000 power station. I also got the insulated cover for the ICECO. I did a few test runs and this fridge especially with the cover is extremely efficient on power draw. The fridge was running at 41F for 3 days at 72F ambient temp and the battery still had nearly 70% capacity.

I plan on building some cabinets for it, but for our most recent trip I just had them in the back of the bed. I typically use these Plano boxes for camp organization, they work nice as a bench too.

Made it out to Allatoona Lake for a quick overnight. Not really the campground type but this was a weekday after spring break just ended so the place was empty and we got a spot right by the water. It was pretty nice. Having a fridge was such a nice convenience - no more giant cooler, worrying about ice, digging for stuff, etc.

One of the best parts of the GFC is opening up all the doors. Makes a great hangout spot.

I swear that a fridge totally changes how you eat on days-long trips. IIRC it was 8 days since I left home: fresh steaks, garden salads, yogurts, milk in coffee, name it...

Ice-cold beer at the end of a long day, in heat wave, is gods bless, too.

Now you need a secondary battery in the bed + charge controller that charges it only when the engine is working, so the fridge works with the engine shut. May add a flex solar panel to your RTT to charge the secondary battery when it can.
