Radar detector running through the Kenwood. Need to run the cable around the windshield into the headliner.

Ran the cable, like having access through the head unit.

Sub is in it's temporary location. I will try to get it into the stock location, I may try to put the DD driver in the stock box if the JL box does not work. I replaced the OEM crummy JBL "woofer" with the slim JL driver from this box about the second day I had the truck.

Moved the sub to the back of the truck.

Fixed the powerwasher with a 3100 psi pump. Working better than new. Only issues are the original which is NLA has the hoses coming out the sides, all the available pumps are front or back. I got one that comes out the front because the axle was in the way out the back, second issue is the bolts are too long so I used nuts to take up the space.

My radio bezel was warped, Crutchfield replaced it no muss no fuss.

Huge shout out to Crutchfield!

First roadtrip went great. Averaged 75mph & 18mpg. OEM intake & K&N element running 1 degree over ambient indicates there is no need for a cai. (Ambient in upper left corner)

What are your thoughts about the window shades/curtains? My 2011 SR5 does not come with them but with another kid on the way im thinking about finding and installing stock window shades. At least in the 2nd row. How do they clip onto the top of the windows when opened?

Congratulations!

I like them.

Thanks! #2

When I get home ill take a look and see if I have holes behind the door trim for those hooks. Yah thats a nice feature. I looked on a toyotas parts web page and found them but they are a bit pricey. $180 ea

This just happened.

Cooler & thermostat are here. Packaging was a work of art, actual plywood outer box with two interior boxes & a ton of bubblewrap & protection.

Thermostat & cooler are in, in case anyone is wondering, exhausts are hot, touched the cat opening the fill plug to add the extra necessary transmission oil, I'm leaving the thermostat open, it's Pheonix in the summer & I never go anywhere it gets below 60.

The cooler is being held up on a wire tie, waiting for the mount to come in today,

Finally got the suspension in.

I had a hell of a time getting it in there & getting the tool out was almost as hard.

It's not properly on the lower perch, I could not get it on there. I'm hoping it seats, if not I'll pay for it when I get the alignment.

I did get it in properly.

Struts & sway in

Just fits in the garage!

Dropped at Firestone for lifetime alignment which they f00ked up and I ended up across the street at Big O.

Good job! I love the build so far. Installing the rear springs is probably the scariest thing I've ever done at our shop. I don't like doing it!

What type of compressor did you use for the rear springs???
Did you remove any or all of the suspension mounting bolts down there? Obviously I think you need to remove the sway bar. I have read where some just use a bottle jack to push the arm down to make room to get the spring out and others that have loosened all of the bolts/mounting points to let things move better. I think Toytec instructions say to take everything apart for the most part. Just trying to get a good plan of attack before I dive in to this task. Thanks!
