Hi guys
Wondering if anyone has ever had this issue before
Intermittently, mostly on a cold startup, put shifter into DRIVE and as driven along its in D - 1 (as though its in manual mode). The only way to get it back into normal drive mode is to shift it to SPORTS + - on the shifter, then back into DRIVE, then it returns to nomal D DRIVE (without a gear number shown)
Doing some testing, I dont believe the shifter itself is the cause. The reason is, if you manually shift it into + / - sports mode on the shifter itself, it shows S sports 1 gear on the cluster, not D 1
The only way I can get it to show D 1 on the cluster , is to leave it in DRIVE D, then tap on the paddle shifters. This does not show the S Sport, but rather, shows D and 1
Its as though when the issue happens (again namely on a cold startup), and i put it into DRIVE, it thinks ive tapped on one of the paddle shifters and put it into D1
Would a bad shifter cause this somehow, or is there an issue relating to the paddles somewhere?
