Mine does that on flat gravel.

Its flat gravel, just testing it is all.

If it’s flat, that’s normal.

Crawl control always sounds terrible.
I remember testing it when I bought mine used at a dealership. The salesman in the passenger seat was freaking out bc he thought it was destroying itself... ;)

I wondered if that was the case because I was not up against any kind of obstacle.
Have you used yours to crawl rocks?

I just used mine earlier today to get out of the sand down at the river. I went in half cocked with 40lbs in my tires like a moron. Ended up in a bad spot trying to go uphill and before I knew it I was up pretty much on the frame. Crawl got me out though. It would have been a long afternoon without it.

I am use to the old school methods.

Hopefully this short video works.
I have it in Crawl slowest setting, turn your audio up, is this how it is suppose to work?
Lots of rocking and learching, my foot is off both pedals.

Yeah, on flat ground, with no obstacles, CRAWL does lurch, esp on its lowest setting. Weird, but CRAWL feels better when it is actually going up an obstacle...but on smooth ground, it lurches like crazy.

And yes, noisy as hell.

And yes, CRAWL is damn effective. I don’t miss my axle lockers that i had in my previous vehicle.

Don’t usually need more traction on big rocks, but yes, I did use in in a weird combination of boulder and dirt and bubbling fuel when alone inMoab.

Also... Definitely needed it in tiny pebbles near and on the beach in Baja...! It was like this weird quicksand, but tiny rocks...no sand.

But ya, crawl does work when tires spin or a locked diff isn’t available. Used it maybe 3 times total...
