I understand that they changed/modified the frame on the 2010 and newer model year FJC to the same frame as the new 2010 4runner to eliminate the fender bulge issue. The 2007-2009 FJC was built on the 120 Prado frame and the 2010 - current FJC is on the 150 frame. This seems to be confirmed by my searches on the web. I guess Toyota isn't advertising this change since it would not help their issue with the fender bulge on the 2007 -2009 models???
