Hello, I was changing the rotors/pads on my 2009 highlander and noticed some oil being slung around the inside of the wheel well on the drivers front side. Anyone know where this is coming from?

Is it all in line with that half shaft boot? See if there's a cut in the boot letting out the grease.

It’s hard to tell. I guess I’ll get the pressure washer out and see if I can clean it up to see if I can pinpoint the location when it starts again.

Simple enough to fix with the tools.
You'll need rags if you're going to reboot it
Replacing the axle is the cleaner but more expensive choice.
If you have an impact gun you're going to need that and a big socket for the axle nut.
Break the lower ball joint, pry the axle out
No impact? You're going to need a massive cheater and something to keep the hub from turning.
Once the axle is out, the boot is simple to cut off and change, but in order to not end up right back where you're at now, you'll need to buy a Tool to fasten the cv axle boot retaining clamps. The tool could cost as much as a reman axle shaft depending on where you buy.
