Hey, just wanted to say I appreciate the hospitality and enjoyed drinking a few beers w/ all of you. Nice meeting all of you and hope to run into you (so to speak) again soon.

Whoever said the smaller tents got water in this thread doesn't even know the magnitude of that statement... we leaked more water than an 80 y/o woman w/ 10 kids.

It was nice to meet all you guys up there. Y'all need to make a greatest hits album to go along with the cool shirts. That was some awesome music Friday night. I kept singing that "When exactly did we become white trash" song all weekend. Now I'm about to start doing some music searches to add to my collection!

Party on!

Marty

Well for those that did not go I actually made this event almost 12 hrs driving but I was there.

I love it. I met a lot of the white trash members. This group certainly deserves to be called a wild bunch. I really enjoyed the time I spent with them and I am looking forward to the Round Up in March.

Things that I found out and I will make sure won't happen again.

Primarly:
I need bring beer. I showed up with no beer. Kowboy let me have it for showing up with no beer. He said that I needed to bring beerand cofortable chair but he did not say that I had bring it from a different county. Now I know Gilmer it's in a dry county. We don't have anything like that down here.

2nd: don't trust fireman. I rode with him to the pavillion to get some jambalaya
and the guy left me there. can you believe that!. Good thing I ran into Butch and asked him for a ride to get back to camp. It wasn't far on a truck but walking distance was far.

Weather was great Friday. Saturday was bad. I left at 11:00am and got home at 9:30pm took a different route and got faster. Out of this 10 hrs drive 7hrs were in the cold and rain, up until I got outside Victoria was cold and rain.

Once I was in Victoria it was hot and humid. I actually had to turn on the A/C. I had all my windows foggy and no rain. I actually had to dried up the seats and windows in order to continue. I could not see anything. The condensation was pretty bad.

I had left early on Saturday to get breakfast and some beer(2 30pack to be exactly). When I got back to the park I saw a lot of the people leaving.
So I ended up with 60 beers in my cooler. I did not want to bring beer from Browsville to Gilmer I thought that was kind of stupid and I ended up doing the opposite.

Once I got home cleaned wife's Cruiser and then proceed to put the side panels that I had bought from Chris. My cruiser(40) it's looking better know kind of colorful but it's a crusie. I still missing the top itself and the ambulance doors.
Deryl will be helping me with top. the ambulance doors are still pending

After admiring my colorful cruiser, ( got about 3-5 colors from body parts that had been changed) I had to celebrate. I went and got me a beer, well more like 10 beers. since I had a lot of beer and I certainly can't throw it away.

looking forward to katemcy!

Thanks for a great experience!

no harm done dave!

There were observations only!
