Hi all, long story but my driver's side door window track is bent and the window will only roll down about 4". I took the door apart and tried bending the track back in place with some channel locks but it didn't help much. The piece I'm talking about seems to be welded to the door itself. Any solutions aside from waiting on a black '03-'09 GX470 door to show up in a salvage yard? TIA

I had the same issue on my front passenger door when a strong gust of wind pushed the door open hard against the stops. It took a lot of fiddling with the channel to straighten it out. It's not quite perfect and a little noisy, but I did get it to roll down all the way.

I had this same issue. I drilled out the spot welds and used a hole saw to access and cut the top of the track between the spot welds. I bolted them all back in place after I straightened out the track. I welded the threads from a bolt to the top of the track.

Does anyone know the name or part number of the rubber seal that goes in the track? Mine is a little beat up but I can’t find it anywhere.
