First, let me understand what "FJ" you are asking about.

In '06, Toyota offered the 200 series. If that is the case, you will find much more info over in the 200 section of mud.

200-Series Cruisers

The GSJ1X (aka FJ Cruiser) became available in early '06 but sold as an '07. If we are talking about the FJC, it is a pretty straight forward install, assuming you have also acquired the factory hardware. Its 4 bolts and fairly obvious.

Here is a link to an on-line version of the Factory Service Manual. I've not searched it to find this specific install, but it should be there somewhere...

But, I'd just go out with your metric sockets, lay on your back, fit it into place and away you'll go. I found that installing the front bolts first, keeping them loose, installing the rear then snugging it up made it easier.
