Hello all,
I was replacing my fuel filter with a new, Toyota branded, fuel filter (23300-50090) and all went well until I started the car. There was an immediate leak at the flare nut side. I test the nut and it's tight, snug it up again, but it's still leaking. I put the old filter back on and no leak... So I try again and the new filter leaked.
There is nothing obviously wrong with the new filter, is it possible the flare on the line from the tank is molded to the old filter profile or something? Do I need to ream it or something, or could I just have a defective filter? Thanks in advance.
