I have had a '04 and now a '07. The power difference can certainly be felt. As far as mileage, I don't think you will ever see a bit of difference.

The '06+ are available without AHC, you just need to look a bit more.

Only have experience with the '06. Targeted this year once I researched the few updates over the previous years. Come up with a budget, then go slightly over , can't really go wrong with any year when it comes down to it.
