Hi, I have a 2003 LX 470 that I purchased in 2020 from an elderly friend of mine in Maine, at 112k miles. He kept it mostly garaged, and kept up with basics, but when I got it, it needed work. I replaced AHC (and lines); Front & rear brakes, pads, rotors, dust shields & ebrake; tie rods; power steering rack; Tranny cross member; rear oil springs; rear shocks; AC work (including rear ac delete); new wheels/tires; and have just done the timing belt and re-done front brakes.
I now have 128k miles and want to sell it. Body is in good shape, paint in good shape, interior is good (note this is not excellent, but better than most 23 yr old vehicles), I’ve kept it detailed and fluid filmed, but don’t have a garage. She has rust on the rocker panels and into the door well of rear DS door. Otherwise my mechanic says the frame is good (maybe surface rust) and the vehicle will outlive me if continued maintenance and care given it. It passes Maine State Inspection. It’s been my winter daily driver in Maine.
Given all the work it’s had, the lower mileage, and the care it’s had, what would be a good selling price? I’ve seen these go for anywhere from over $70k (on BAT, but that was PRISTINE with 20k miles) to $9k for decent shaped vehicles. I am going to get it detailed next week and get photos of the undercarriage-
