i might of missed it but what gears are in it. If one was to put 37's would it still have the guts to push them ok?

The axles have the stock gear ratios in them of the 4:11 gears, and with the 34" tires, it has way more ass than needed to push those tires. I would say that you could def run up to a 35" tire (315 75 16) with NO ISSUES, If you decide to step up to 37" tires (which she will have no problem stuffing 37's) I would prob. swap out to 4:88 to 5:38 gears. Jeffs Bronco graveyard has killer deals on Yukon gear sets in package deals with full master rebuilt kits for BOTH f and r axles for $720.00 ( the Detroit that is currently in the rear axle will except up to a 5:38 gearset.

If i kept the vehicle and planned to drive it on the highways all day long and wheel 2 times a month, I would put on a set of 36x12.50x16 Swamper trx mud terrains from 4wheelparts and slap an ARB in the front and go like hell, and not worry about the gears. Between the potent V8 and the Really low gears of 4low I think you would be OK. But again it would be up to the new owner to finish the easy part... The hard parts have been done ;)

OK I got to say this. If I were to keep the truck, This is what I would do.

Order a set of (5) H1 HMMV 37 x 12.5 x 16.5 tires 95% tread from Ebay for $670 shipped to my door (YES SHIPPED TO MY DOOR) go check it out!!

THen I would order a set of 5 H1 HMMV custom beadlocks with rock rings to fit the 8 on 170mm bolt pattern of the Superduty axles for $124.00 each from Trailworthyfab.c o m with the 3.5 offset.

Then whenever you feel like it-------------------

4:88 gearsets from JeffsBroncoGravyard for $720 set for the F AND the R

ARB the front when I swapped out the gearsets.

FYI Superduty axles are a joke to set gears on.. VERY EASY!!!!!!

See the beauty of this, is you get a truck that somebody busted his ass on to get all the really tough conversions done, then all you have to do is spend just a little more money to finish.

Now you got a family friendly rig with all the Luxuries with a killer 1 ton drivetrain, that will roll at 100 mph all day long on the highway, with ENDLESS power getting very good MPG, then hit the trails and push her to her limits knowing that she can take it, then drive her home.

I had been following this build since so I was stoked to see it up for sale. My :princess: likes it, but I don't think it would fit in our garage.:bang:

Any guess how tall it is at the roofline?

Very nice truck, but I think the original diff cover art should have stayed. Too bad you have to sell it. We have some other poser shots if needed.

Good luck on the sale, but here's to the barn option.

Thank god it sold before you all sliced and diced the thread, LOL. God I love the NFCH members...:o Just sold it this a.m. to a fellow near VA beach.:beer:

So the old girl is officially SOLD.

WTF Mike.... phone not working or something?

I never even got to see the Sukoia on the trails.

Even up trade for a pre-molested '88 4Runner, no rust, slight head gasket problem.

Oh wait, I already sold this truck to you.... :bang:

RIP Trail Slut :crybaby:

Sux hearing 'bout this on a forum.... 'ya shoulda called ya :censor:

Mikey, why'd you sell it! I will personally make sure to take the little one and wife on that Orlando trip just so I can detour and kick your ass for even considering a sale of it.

*Even though I totally understand and agree with the job motivation happening.

Bump for a sweet build..you should go ahead and clip some pics and details into my Expedtion thread Show Me Your Toyota Expedition Build along with a note you're selling (out).
