I am helping a friend sell her 2001 Chevy 1500HD 4WD Silverado LS. Is has a CEL with trouble codes P0332 (knock sensor 2 circuit low input (bank 2). This points to the knock sensor. I cleared the code, and it came right back. It also had a P0507 code (idle control system RPM higher than expected) when I first started driving it. Where do I go next?
I don't think it's coincidence that when I went to Google looking for info, the only link with detailed troubleshooting for this code was the North Carolina Toyota Trails Association web site, where someone had downloaded infor for Toyota.
I couldn't find squat for GM- not a helpful group like us Toyota guys.
