2001 TOYOTA 4RUNNER. SR5 2WD. This is a very clean well kept suv. power windows, sunroof, towing pakage, tinted windows, all else is stock. no lift, no mud tires, this is a awsome stock SUV. with 150k miles. but does not show it, clean inside and out. $7,999. disregard date on photo, was just took on 5/25/11 call or email for additional pics kyle. there's always craigslist. its also 2wd which is a tough sell around here.
 
i don't have the records for it. i actualy just bought it about 4 months ago. my brother is a mechanic and i have built some pretty good ground up rigs. we went threw this suv very well when i purchased it. i have done the oil, plugs ,filters all the basics. the only thing we found on it was the rear ujoint on the drive shaft was a little worn. so i had both of them replaced. i know the first question is going to be then why are you selling it. well here is the story. I bought this for my wife as a surprise being we needed a suv with a new son on the way. well I realy liked the truck so i bought it without telling her. so she was happy but she realy wanted something differrent with leather and all the higher end goodies. plus we have had one of these before and i still have a fj60 so it was not a new car to her being she wanted different. so i told her if we found something else that was good i would sell the 4runner. well i had a guy trade in a 07 honda pilot for some jet skis at my work so i got a real goos deal on it. so now im selling the 4runner. if you have any questions just give a yell
 
im not sure when the belt was done nut it does look to be new and its in good shape. the a/c works good and everything works(windows,locks,buttons,ect)

yes kbb does rate it at that, but kbb is at average condition. if you pull up nada it shows $8900, but they rate thiers in excellent perfect shape. so I am in the middle do to this is a super clean and well taken care of suv.

Steve's referring to the timing belt, not the serpentine belt. You'd have to tear the front of the engine off to see the timing belt. Generally the mechanic that does the timing belt will mark the front of the engine or under the hood w/ the date and mileage when the timing belt was replaced. It's a major operation dollar wise if you have the dealer do it. It can get over $1K in a hurry.

Anywho, look around the engine bay to see if there's any note re: the timing belt.

did look over motor more in depth and it has been pulled apart. do to the wrench marks on the bolts. so I would say thier is a good chance it was done but it was never marked at what milage.
 
man it is funny how many scams use the same mo on craigs list. HI IM A POTROLEUM ENGINEER AND I WANT TO BUT YOU CAR BUT ONLY THREW PAYPAL. Im not even hure how they make this scam work but it is punny.
 
timing belt,waterpump, and three belts all will cost about 350-400. dont know why you said 1k??
with my discount at work(toyota) i got my timing belt,waterpump,serp belts. under 250. and saved me 5 hrs labor too! helps being a toyota tech and owning a toyota:)
