2000 LC Charcoal Cannister outlet hose search

Hi Guys,
77754-60240 is discontinued. So is -60230/31. Is the little square box on the far end necessary? Is there a work around? What's inside it? Better yet, any leads on where I can get a 77754-60240? - Thanks!

Hi, Ive had success using this OEM hose (part # 7775460231) as a replacement . It requires cutting the hose with a razor to fit the green valve in line. Then it's a direct fit, identical to factory. Appears to be the same hose, just without a split to fit the green valve. This part is actually also discontinued but I was able to find it on this site: https://parts.belllexusnorthscottsdale.com/
