2000 Land Cruiser. Desert Bronze Metallic with Tan Int. 200k miles within the next few days. My DD. $9995. BFG 285/75/16 KO2s with about 7-8k miles. I have the running boards. Torsion Bars have been cranked a bit, but not maxed out. Purchased from Original owner last July with a slightly leaky Drivers side Head Gasket due to a failed Heater Tee. All records from Day 1 on the Cruiser. I tore down the top end of the engine and rebuilt from the short block up. All OEM parts. Heads were redone by Kelly's Machine in North Phoenix and installed by me. I took 4 weeks to tear down, clean and rebuild this engine. It had 190k when I bought it. I am almost 10k since rebuild. Mechanically the truck is unquestionable. Cosmetically it is not perfect. Body is relatively straight, with each corners plastic bumpers having been contacted by the original owner. I can give great detail about the original owner and how it was used if desired. I built this truck to last another 190k, and had no intention of selling. I will not give it away. Only reason I am selling is because I found GX470 to play with and it doesn't make sense for me to have 4 Land Cruisers. I put a ton of time into the engine and cleaning up this Cruiser. It is totally solid. It is not a mall Cruiser and if you are looking for a perfect cosmetic 16 year old cruiser this isn't it. If you want to know that you are getting a truck that needs next to nothing in the near future, then you should see mine. I had planned to put new seat leather and steering wheel in it. I have LOTS of pictures of my engine rebuild and will be happy to provide them but I am not going to post them all up on Mud.

Shoot me the pics of the engine rebuild please.

For anyone wanting to get in to a 100, this is a great truck and great price. Jason is very thorough in his maintenance and the rebuild of his engine I'm sure would make a Toyota Master mechanic proud.

I saw Jason here at the dealership no less than a dozen times picking up Toyota parts for it during the rebuild. Now I see him lately picking up parts for the GX!

There is a difference on how someone fixes up a rig for a personal long term vs fixing it "just enough" to flip. This rig fell into the first category as he planned on keeping it as his daily driver.

...Then the GX came along :D
