I too would suggest a skid up front.
Totally agreed. I just ordered stage 4 Budbuilt skids. Once those go on, I’m going back to the fab shop to put on a skid in this area and have them blend seamlessly.

It’s great! No issues at all. It even came in handy getting me unstuck recently! Highly reccomend!Revisiting this thread. Very seriously considering same operation on my LX. How do you like it a year on @FlightMedic178
If anyone on the front range of Colorado wants to try a front bumper chop with no risk, I have a stock bumper off my 2010 that I'll give you. It's black and located in Colorado Springs.
I'll be tossing it in the dumpster in a few weeks if nobody wants it. Last call.

The rear was 870 and the front was 1400.LOVE these bumper chops (as many others do also). I was wondering if you could share pricing/cost for the fab work.
I’m new to the LC200 and don’t like any of the aftermarket bumpers available for the front and don’t want to commit to a swing out just yet.
you’ve had it for a year and a half now, any issues?
Also, how did you paint them?
thanks!
