Finally gave up a life of Jeep ownership and got an 80 FJ40. Im planning on taking it on a trip down to Big Bend after the motor gets rebuilt and Have a few ?s. Im looking into getting a Roof top tent but have yet to see one on a 40 in any thread pics. Can the rain gutter support that kind of weight? Im fixin to pick up a roof rack, just wondering if its even worth the $ to try and slap a RTT up there or just stick with a ground tent. Also if yall can give any advice on spare parts to bring on the trip that would be great. I know with a jeep a water pump, radiator fluid, and fan belts will usually get the job done. Anything else i should bring for a 40?
