This project started March of 2020. Me and my dad found a 73 FJ40 that had been sitting in a field for a very long time. We went through it and there had been water sitting in the cylinders. We ended up finding another 73 that had a "better" body. We decided that we wanted to go with a 1uz because we wanted to try to keep it Toyota based and we thought they were cool. It also helped that we did some trading and got it for free. We are putting an H55F behind it so we designed a custom adapter that uses a factory UZ bellhousing. After we got the engine and trans in it sat for a couple of years. The current goal is to get it running and driving so it will at least move it under its own power.

This is where it is currently sitting. A few things that I have and need to get installed are:
S10 fuel Tank
Minitruck booster and master cylinder
Hydraulic clutch / pressure plate / friction disc (about to order)
Get steering finished

Racing tractor for sure. I just saw a vid with than engine in a plane!

Have you ever seen a video of that engine in a boat? ;) Well...a later gen 1UZ anyway.

OP, why'd you go with a first gen 1UZ?

The original plan was to go 2UZ but did some trading and got this one for basically free. I have ad video of it running but didn't know how to attach it without posting it on YT or something and then linking it.
