Hi all,
With the Prado 90 manual I know they recommend 15w40 but could you run Shell Rotella T6 full synthetic t6 Rotella 15w40 instead or stick with T4 15w40?

Either in 15W40. I have been using T4 because I had a bunch of 5l bottles from my last Defender but will go with the T6 when I run out.

These things spec CF or I think CD if CF isn't available. This means that just about any currently available diesel rated oil will be perfectly fine.

5w40 is my preference, we get temps down into the teens F and up to 105F. I stocked up on Delo 5w40 when Advanced Auto was going out of business. When my stock of that is gone, I plan to run whatever 5w40 diesel oil or 0w40/5w50 A3/B4 diesel rated euro oil costs less.

hmmm. I will make that call once its in AZ. In Ireland I ran it after it sat in a field for 12 years and it ran ok. I gave a replacment fuel filter to my uncle and will change the oil to rimula r4
