If you throw enough time and money into it,anythings possible.
You would have to deal with the 50 odd engine sensors,new engine mounts and get a gearbox that fits.
IMO if your prepared to do all that work it would more practical/satisfying to go up in size to a 6 cyl 1HZ,1HD T or 12HT or turbo the existing 3B engine.
The fuel pumps on 1KZ T ,from what I have been told by Toyota,do not have spares,so when they die you buy a new one for $2500.
Most of the others can be rebuilt for inder a $1000.
