Hi Guys, I've seen the threads about this swap, but I need some more specific advice.
I have a Prado with the 1KZ-TE, and it has lots of ecu/wiring/spill valve issues. I think I have pushed the electronics as far as they can go, so I'd like to swap to a manual (non electronic) pump.
Does the pump from the 1KZ-T bolt in and work? Are there other pumps (2LT, 5L) that will work without modification?
I live in Africa, so I don't have access to any special-built pumps they sell in Australia.
I know it will cause auto transmission issues. I'm driving slow around town, so that's not an immediate issue.
