It's been a WHILE since my last post... Wow! a lot has been happening around our little farm. Finally completed the new house as well as most of the landscaping so haven't been working on Cruisers much. the 100 and the 40 have been treating us very well in that they are always ready for a ride whenever we are! I have also recently purchased a new Tundra and a new Sequoia, both of which are amazing vehicles so it can be a challenge to decide which Toyota to drive on a given day.. LOL!
Recent maintenance on the 100 has been performed by the Dealership mostly in preparation for our annual trip to MT/ID/CO which will be in about 3 weeks. I had them do a pre-trip inspection, oil change, changed all the diff fluid, rotate, balance, and greased the drive shafts.
A while back the windshield just randomly cracked as we were driving along the highway... nothing hit it or anything that I could tell. Anyway, I had the dealership install a new OEM windshield and while they were at it I had their body shop repair the rust that was starting to happen in the A-pillars and around the top corners. They actually were pretty reasonable on all of that so I felt like it was well worth it to get that all done.
So she's ready and willing and we'll be loading up soon for another trek to the Rockies for some adventure and to visit family... Can't wait!
here is a random pic of DeSoto Falls.. we had a picnic lunch here on July 4th..
