Looking to replace my 80 series rad. I don't have a fan shroud on it as the previous owner never replaced it so I will be adding one. So my question is will a 1fz fan shroud work with a 1hdt? Reason I ask is a friend has a new OEM 1FZ rad I can get pretty cheap just want to make sure a 1fz fan shroud will fit without issue. If not ill just order the right rad (3FE) and shroud. I know the 1fz rad has the extra nipple that runs to the intake but I'm sure I can block that off no issue. I'm also not concerned about the transmission cooler/ heater lines as I plan on bypassing them and just using an external cooler. Looked through several threads but could not get a definite answer.
