Well, sort of a continuation of the other 1HDT injector thread but, I got my injectors back from Surrey Diesel yesterday. They look great, brand spankin' new. Just so everyone knows, they do have the ability/equipment to set these things up properly. They are a Denso dealer and there is not much that is so special about these injectors over other DI injectors that they see every day. I think some shops like to build a mystery around their work. Anyway, $108 a unit- they gave me 20% off the parts. Also, it's great to deal with a shop where the owners are the guys you talk with and that are doing the work. Can't say enough good about these guys.
If you call them, tell them I put you on to them and they'll cut you the same.

Now, if I can only get an engine to install these in... Still waiting on the engine from New Zealand. Boats are sooooo sloooooow...

$108 each with new denso tips is a good price.
The only voodoo going on with 1HD-T injectors is the two stage injection bit.

thanks for the info

I hear you... the ship with my A442F finally arrived from Australia on Monday, but I still don't have the documents required to clear customs; I hope that I can go get it next week.

Cool.. let me know if they shipped you the electronic version and I will trade you straight up for an early non ECT unit.. 8-)

I am eager to hear your feedback on the improvement.

LOL - enough out of you

You've spawned this recurring nightmare...

I'm standing in front of a shipping crate, surrounded by all the mechanics from Metro Toyota Duncan, and all of the sales critters too, and even a couple customers. I take a pry bar and carefully open the crate to expose a nice shiny Extreme Transmission. Happy, eager hands help me remove the packing material, and then silence as the wiring harness comes into view. From far away, over the sea, and up the valley, I hear Sheldon's maniacal laughter, gleefully chortling about the new treasure he hopes to receive...

It's NOT going to happen that way! It's been a long wait, but I'm hoping it will be over soon and will be worth while.

Bwahahahahaha!!!!
If the whole Extreme'd tranny works anything like the Extreme valve body in my ECT A442F you will be very happy. Can't wait to hear about it.
