What special tool do I need to hook up to this? The angle it's at facing the engine makes it so neither my gauge nor manifold will attach.

must be r12, they do make a 90 degree adapter that goes from r12 to r134a, most any autoparts store has it. is that what your planning to do?

if its already been converted take the fitting thats on there off and replace it with the angled fitting.

I'm trying to avoid opening the system as I can't pull a vacuum. I'm simply trying to test pressure.
