Hi folks,
247K miles, all new injectors, injector pump hard lines - brand new OEM parts. Valve clearances checked, and oil changed from 15/40 to 10/40.
The engine has got louder and more rough sounding in my opinion. I've shared this video with others and it's a been a mixed bag of responses!
Related or not, if left for over 24 hours or so the car will let out a plume of smoke on startup and run rough for a few seconds, this has got worse I think since the injectors were replaced.
There is some air noise with the oil cap removed, this isn't blowing or suction, it's just a slight noise of air which I think is quite normal? It doesn't move the oil cap off if placed over the oil filler hole, so that's a negative for blowby from what I understand.
It's very loud when cold and when warm it still can sound a tad knocky in my opinion.
EGR blanked too!
The below video doesn't sound bad which is a bit annoying but I'll have to record a cold start
Those who've followed my journey with this car will know I've spent over £20K replacing so many major components on this and I'm concerned there is something quite seriously wrong with the engine.
If anyone has any suggestions/insights it would be really appreciated as I've not got another £5K to throw at this for engine work

Thanks!
