I have a GCC Spec LC100 with a 1FZ-FE engine. The brakes are old school. No ABS. Just a big booster and master cylinder. I noticed the brake booster vacuum hose was rubbing on the master cylinder because it was hanging down, and had almost rubbed through. I bought an OEM replacement hose (4477360170) and noted that as soon as the engine bay gets warm enough, it too starts to droop and lands on the master cylinder.
Is there supposed to be a bracket somewhere holding this hose up?
Ps. I've already put some rubber on both the hose and the master cylinder to keep this from happening again but it seems like there would be a Toyota solution but nothing shows up in the parts page.
