1FZ-FE idling rough and stalling

Hello,

Hopefully quick question.
I just changed the oil on my 80 series, and attempted to change the air filter too.
The intake hose from the MAF to the throttle body is old, hard, and ready to be replaced (new one in the mail), and I believe I may have cracked it when lifting the air filter housing top.
Is the stalling and rough idle related to this hose? And if so, can I temporarily fix it with a tape wrap until the new one arrives?
