Curious as to if the rear parking brake shoes automatically adjust or tighten with wear. Thanks!

No they have to be adjusted

Thanks!

So, I did the manual adjustment of the parking brake which is tightening of the brake until the rotor doesn't turn and back off 8 turns. I then adjusted the bell crank cable on the back which needed a little tighter than what appeared to be original. I'm guessing that's normal from wear and tear.

I did find slight wear in the brake shoes from the donor axles but didn't see any real reason to change them out since I couldn't get ahold of some extra friction shoes from down under in the time constraints I have right now. Maybe next time. I did find a frozen bell crank in the original axle. Everything seems to be working well with this swap now. I need to check if there is cable adjustment at the hand brake side of things.
