I purchased this vehicle in April with 135,000 miles on it. It currently has 140,500 miles on it. We just had our second baby and I quickly realized I need a bigger vehicle. This truck is truly my daily-driver – I’m a construction project manager and travel to jobsites 50+ miles away on a weekly basis – yes, it’s a highway queen and does not have diff lockers.

Since I purchased the truck, I’ve added the following:

- 285 / 75 / 16 Laramie A/T Tires (part of the Sumitomo tire company – Treadways Corp. – www.laramietire.com)
- OME Low-Lift springs and OME shock absorbers
- New Interstate battery
- Driver Seat Modification (LandTank)

The truck was "raised” in the south (GA) – no rust. The truck was originally owned by a prominent Atlanta family and serviced regularly. Everything works (including seat motors, switches and radio antenna). I had the a/c serviced shortly after I bought it – blows very cold and works well.

Engine: The motor was replaced by Toyota at 131,000 miles – the original motor developed oil blow-by after a piston ring broke. Please see scanned copies of motor replacement documents below. They apparently had a difficult time finding a replacement motor since it’s so rare to have issues like this. I’ve put quite a few highway miles on the truck and have had NO issues whatsoever (engine, tranny, etc.).

The evaporator box did have some blockage that dripped onto the passenger-side floor but that was an easy fix.

The exterior is in great condition for the miles. Obviously, with 140,000 miles you’ll have your cosmetic issues. The hood has some highway rock chips. The front bumper is faded (typical of these trucks) and has some paint peel on the corners. The rear bumper is in good condition.

The interior is also in great shape – roughly equivalent to that of a vehicle with half the miles. Again, any vehicle with higher miles has some wear. The seats are in great shape. The backside of one of the third-row seats has a small tear in it.

Please let me know if you need any additional pictures.

I am actually looking for a Sequoia, Tahoe, Excursion, Suburban, etc. (year 2001-2003 roughly). The Land Cruiser is located in Sarasota, FL.

Forgot to mention - the oil pressure gauge does not work. This hasn't been a concern of mine since it doesn't leak or use oil.
