To whom it may concern:

I'm a Georgia Tech student living in the midtown area. My 1994 4Runner recently developed some maintenance issues that I can't afford to fix. This is definitely a "needs work" vehicle, but could be a good platform if someone is looking for a project. Specs are below, I'm willing to take $1500 or a reasonable offer, but the vehicle will need to be towed, as it isn't drivable and the plates are being transferred to my next vehicle.

1994 Toyota 4Runner SR5
3.0 L V6
4WD
5-spd Manual Transmission, original clutch
approx. 217,200 miles
Fog lights
interior is in good condition, except that the dash is cracked in several places
Tires replaced at 216k, Pirelli Scorpion 10.5x15Rx31

Air ride kit (currently leaks, but all hardware is installed)
Clearcoat on the hood is stripping away, and fenders are developing rust again (I'm originally from PA, damage is from road salt)
Minor ding on the windshield

Recent Maintenance Check revealed the following:
broken brake line over pass. rear tire
broken CV boots on the drivers side front drive axle
needs new spark plugs and wires (still runs, but with some hiccups)
leaks on oil pan, valve covers, power steering pump
needs fuel filter service

As you can see, it's clearly a project vehicle, but there's still a lot of good parts. It's a one-owner vehicle, and I would prefer to keep it, but I don't have the tools or the time to bring it back up to speed. Please let me know if there's someone out there looking for a new project. I'm absolutely willing to let you look it over, but unfortunately can't allow you to drive it due to the brake issue. I'm generally available evenings and weekends, please send an email. Please reply soon, I won't be holding on to it for long.
