A forum member who is strong mechanically stopped to look at it last night and did point out that the driver side front axle seal is showing some signs of diff fluid in the grease. The front axle service was performed by the previous owner about 85k ago. But it will need a front axle service in the near future. The other two main things he did point out is the radiator will need replacing probably sooner than I had estimated. It has some corrosion spots on the top showing. And he did feel some vacuum leak in the brake pedal. I am adjusting the price to $3,500. I have priced it where I think it gives the next owner enough value to justify spending $1,000-$1,500 baselining it and fixing these issues.
Let me know if you have any questions.
This is my first post hopefully I am doing it right, unfortunately I am selling my landcruiser. I am in Las Vegas and am asking $4,000 for it. Let me know if you have any questions.
1994 Toyota Landcruiser without lockers and 185k mileage. I am the third owner of this vehicle and have owned it for just over 3 years. The interior is in good condition, has leather seats, with 3rd row, only the driver seat has a tear in it. Outside the clearcoat on the factory paint peeled off some time ago on the hood and roof. It personally think it gives it character. Mechanically the vehicle is in good condition. The rear main seal does leak a little, and the transfer case also leaks a bit out of the speedo cable. Neither of these have bothered me enough to address. It also will need new brake pads in the future. Here's a list some of the modifications. Old Man Emu 850/863 lift, Slee Sliders, Slee Transfer Case Skid Plate, Hankook MT tires 285/16's (about 60% tread life left), Optima Red Top Battery, New Brake Booster and Master Cylinder, George's LED dome and consol light. Center Diff Lock switch added for use in high range, receiver hitch. Additional accessories include, Factory Service Manual, Extra Parts, including seals, O2 sensor, EGR valve, Transmission Filter Kit, and more. I have extensive service records. The only reason I am selling it is for money for my wedding.
