Found my culprit. Compressor wiring had rubbed a hole in itself against cruise control actuator thus charging the entire bracket with 12 Volts. Engine harness bouncing around came in contact at some point and let the 12v jump and travel all the way down the harness. Sucks but at least I know it’s not a short in the harness itself.

Good news and bad news. Good news, I was able to reverse fish the harness through the cab and get decent access to the area that was damaged. Bad news, the wire that took the brunt of the heat, I’ve chased it as far down the harness as possible before pulling dash and the entire wire shows no signs of any sheathing. I would think I would run in to so sort of burnt up residue or something but it’s just a clean wire. I find it really hard to think that it vaporized all of its coating without significantly damaging everything around it but then again I’ve never seen a stripped wire in the harness. Is anyone able to confirm the function of this wire and or at least the color of it? It’ll be the center pin connection on 7 pin connector female side to the cruise control actuator.
