To being with, I tried searching the forum but couldn't find a related thread - sorry for the repeat question if someone already asked.
1993 model year. Stock engine and transmission. No major work done recently other than redoing the brake lines and brake pads/ disks on all wheels.
When I am accelerating and in the 30 mph range, the rpm drops all of a sudden for a second (feels like being sucked in a vacuum, for example). Then it revs up and continues with the acceleration. Happens when speeding up and slowing down, around the 30 mph speed range.
Not sure if connected to the above, but at highway speeds around 50 or 60 mph, when I remove my feet from the gas pedal for a second, rpm drops immediately to around 2500. Again feeling the jerky motion. It revs up again when I hit the gas. Its not a gradual rpm decrease.
Anyone faced these issues? Any thoughts on causes and how to go about fixing it?
