All my dash LEDs are starting to flicker and go from bright to dim continuaslly.

Pm me your address and color and I'll get a new set out in the mail.

I use hot glue to secure leds to the plastic base on all customer work. Sometimes the contact is an issue with the small leads.

I will take 2 sets of Cluster backlighting in green leds please. Paypal?

do you have the led for Console shifter illumination?
thanks

Received the replacement lights in the mail a while ago. Installed the leds and they are working good. Thank you for taking car of that...

Good, you're welcome.

Got some cool new colors in. Aqua blue, UV purple, and pink / light purple.

In addition to these I have warm white, pure white, blue, red, orange, yellow, green,

2nd set turned into a flickering light show again. Going back to stock halogen...

I've heard that LEDs don't dim well and I don't like glare, what's the warm white like, do they destroy the dimmer?

My set started flickering too. I bought another set off another website and those have worked so far, and it's been a few months. Great service from ih8mud, maybe I just wasn't lucky. the set I ended up ordering were some of the shortest available, maybe that helps, since they are probably not rubbing against the back of the dashboard.

I'm not 100% sure but it may be a just a coincidence and I haven't had time to pull mine yet to check but when I did the doors and overheads I lost my dimming ability.

I've had two different brands now, and both dimmed well. When you get close to the dim setting (not the bright setting), it will shut off entirely all of a sudden - but that is pretty close to all the way dim anyway - and I like the lights brighter than that anyway.

I would try to get a low profile (short) bulb, and make sure to get one that puts light out in all directions... other than that, as long as they don't flicker, I think it's an awesome upgrade... the bright white looks much better to me than the old dim green ones.

I'm thinking my dimmer is gonzo as it does absolutely nothing, odd but I know it worked when I got the rig but I just never used it much.

Maybe it's made as one of those circular resistors - potentiometers - and it's become oxidized? Mine, at least, have not had any dimming issues.. Another possibility is that you have a different voltage or current requirement on your LED's, and they are just barely turning on.

I had it pulled out but it doesn't look like a serviceable item, definitely not at the top of my list of to do's though and I'm happy with the LED's so far. I might pull it when I replace the dash lights.
