1991 Landcrusier not starting after running

Hey guys-
I have tried to search on this and can't really find the solution. My younger brother has a '91 Landcruiser and all is good and well when he first drives it. If we shut it off- it will not start again for around 15 minutes. It's got the straight six in it (sorry I do not know much about these) and I'm really at a loss. After 15 minutes or so- he cranks it and it starts fine. I have pulled the wires and checked for spark- and during that time frame there is NO spark.

Could this be the EFI relay I see mentioned on here often?

I'm sorry guys I think I posted in the wrong area- but ANY help would be appreciated- like I said the check engine light comes on every time I turn the key over- but when we crank it and check for spark there is none during the time that it won't start.

Gonna need to know what series Cruiser (FJ62, or FJ80) and what motor.

91 is an FJ80 (3FE motor), post this in the 80 series forum. Good luck!
