1991 Land Cruiser throttle body leak.

Try that dude on market place just search Toyota 80 series parts he usually pops right up. Other than that I’d say block off the throttle body inject compressed air into the manifold at the brake booster port and spray down things down with soapy water ( try not to hit connectors as best as possible ) you suspect of leaking check the injector seals, get a automotive stethoscope and see if any on the injectors sound dissimilar. Check the fuel pressure regulator vacuum port to make sure there isn’t fuel seeping past. I’d say figure out what’s going on first running rich or lean for too long can cause havoc. Have you done a compression and leak down test?
 
Sounds good, I will definitely try all that. How much psi should I be putting into the manifold? Yeah injectors might be part of the equation for sure, also something I haven’t torn into yet.
I also replaced the o-ring on the idle air bypass screw. I didn’t realize there was an o-ring in there until I took apart the other throttle body but that could have been letting air in because the o-ring was completely solid and flattened. I reset my ecu and I’ll drive it for a few days and see if anything changes.
I have not done a compression or leak down test.
Another thing I noticed is that when I’m running my a/c idle goes up to 650 and smoothes out quite a bit.
 
Also where is the fuel pressure regulator vacuum port? I did replace the fuel pressure regulator when I first got the Land Cruiser and didn’t notice anything weird at that time.

Just enough psi to get some flow through the system. Usually it’ll blow a piss poor vacuum line off before any other damage could occur but just use good judgement. You’ll need a partner in crime for this task or you’ll have to get creative if you have a thicker than normal rubber glove you can zip tie that onto the throttle body, it’s kind of a sacrificial lamb but it need to be proper thick and stretchy, if you can blow the glove up and keep it from popping off or blowing out that’s a good metric of pressure to apply. I’d have a shop or if you capable yourself do a compression and leak down test just for removing things out of the equation.

Sweet that sounds easy enough. I have just the guy to help me I’ve helped him bleed his brakes like 20 times so he owes me one lol. I’ve done compression tests before never leak down so I’ll have to figure that one out. None of the shops around me will work on it anyways because it’s obd1 😬
