No I did not steel it.
I know what you mean I paid almost double for it.

I will post pictures soon I need to finish weilding my bumper and fix a few things first.

Would you explain why the sale for 50 cents to the dollar? thats a loaded VX model with factory lockers and winch, somethings not right. if the mileage is correct it is not even that high, have the big end bearings been replaced, if so how many km?
please add more details, i might know interested parties in Vancouver, but I dont want to lead them down the wrong path....

Seems like too good a deal! Wish i could buy that in Texas!

Hi well yes its a great deal. I am going back to school in Januray for two to three years and won't beable to have the toys. I have done the bottom end bearing and was very glad I did. I have wheeled this truck alot and theirs a few dents on the back quarter panels, the 80 are a little long. Its has west cost pin stripping. So all in all it has a perfect frame and no rust great drive train. I have replaced brakes, rotors, knuckles brearins wheel bearings, front spindle, and tie rods. their is most likely more things I have done but can't remember.

Good luck, (A Landcruiser is not a toy it is a way of life) with the sale of the 81 and school.

Thanks for the bump Crusty. This is a hard one for me I don't want to sell her. It was way easier dumping my last girlfriend:rolleyes:

Deal pending Thanks Lowebrau

It is now sitting in Calgary. Started this morning at -25C without being plugged in. Watch for a parting out thread coming soon. This poor truck is too nice to part out but it has a lot of stuff that I need.

Thanks Jinzuk. Hope you had a good flight home. I'm sure that frostbite will heal up in no time.

OK...
That 1HD-T better go into something special, and you'd better bring it wheel'n on the Island at least once.
-Steve

The motor is the one part I don't need but I agree that it should go into something special. If anybody needs it, PM me. I'm waiting for the results of the oil analysis and compression test before I make a for sale ad for it. I haven't wheeled on the Island since they closed down that area around Sooke. (Harborview?) I could see myself taking a trip out there next summer.
