A little bit of backround on my skills, I am new to cars and I have not done more then a stereo, oil changes and a couple easy gaskets. I am very intrested to branch out and learn though, which is the reason why I decided to undertake it myself.

Original Problem- Windshield wipers were not working.
Step 1, check motor, found out that there was power to the motor and it was getting extremely hot but it was not opperating.
My solution was to replace the wiper motor. Cha-ching! Windshield wipers work!
New Problem arose... Wipers will not turn off! As of right now, the wipers run the second the car turns on. They run even if I unplug the switch right at the steering column. They don't run if I pull the fuse from right next to the clutch. From what I have read there is a problem with the ground wires, and while I was checking to see if there was power to the motor I might have mixed up the wires that plug directly into the wiper motor. I have searched and searched and can not find a color picture of what I am looking for. (I don't quite understand how to read wiring diagrams which I have found alot of), so if someone can tell me which wire goes where I would really appreciate it.
Here is a picture of what I thought the wires are supposed to be-

Here is an outline of the plastic plug that goes into the wiper motor if someone can tell me which wire goes where.

if this doesn't work, what should be my next plan of action? I want everything to work how it should, I don't really want to wire some kind of a toggle switch setup.

Thanks
Dylan
