Mine came with factory pin strips but I took them off because of the fading and cracking. I used boiling water and a scraper. It didn't matter if I scrathed here and there as I then had a repaint.

I actually like your pinstripes, looks kinda sci-fi. If mine looked like that I would leave em. Thanks for the info. If I can find a big enough pot, I'll just bring it to a boil and drive in.

I'd leave them anyway...to big of a pain to deal with unless you're trying to repaint and ya never know, those old school graphics may go for a premium in a few years...plus, its proof of original paint

I am still waiting to see a 60 with a vinal top...........I KNOW someone has done it..........prolly gonna has woody decals as well.

Jim's pinstripes look exactly like the control panel surfaces of the newer Enterprise. Or better his 62 almost looks like "Eagle" from Space 1999.
And VT "proof of orig. paint" is worthy of thought.

My 60 came from Arizona with a Southwestern dealer pinstripe job.....I hated it at first, and paint was first on my list. It grew on me, though. It gives the rig such a vintage look. Viva 1985. I just need a copy of Ferris Bueller's Day Off and I'm done.
