I've been having a stalling issue with my, new to me '87 pickup. It has 161,000 on it and has a Weber carb and stock exhaust. The issue I'm having only happens after the motor has been running for a bit and hot/warmed up. When I engage the clutch and brake to come to a stop I have to quickly give it some gas again to keep it from dying. If it is just sitting at idle and I engage the clutch and brake it is fine. Only happens when slowing down from speed like at stop sign or light. I've reset the mixture screw and idle screws per Weber manual and truck runs and drives great other than small popcorn type noise when using engine to break and this stalling issue. If I leave clutch depressed it fires right back up and I'm on my way. I'm just afraid I'm going to cause and accident.
I've checked for vacuum leaks with starter fluid and found nothing. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and this one has me stumped.

Any thoughts or help is much appreciated!
