Hey everyone, I recently traded my 2wd 1980 Toyota Pickup SR5 for a Canadian BJ70 and wanted to share it. The cruiser was brought into the US from the guy I traded with, not much is known about it beyond that. It has extensive rust throughout the frame, body, and suspension. The engine is burning copious amounts of oil and has a high idle issue. I have a 2006 Chevy 2500HD that's been my main off-road rig for the past 2 years but have been wanting to get a smaller, more dedicated wheeler. So far all I've been able to do it assess the situation (it's bad) and get new suspension on it.

Went with an OME lift from Cruiser Outfitters. Next will be tires, fix the engine issues, and chipping away at rust issues. This thing needs a lot of work and it's a secondary vehicle so the process is going to be long. I'll get some rust photos soon to keep everyone entertained.
