Well I'm starting to gauge some interest for my 1983 HJ47 Troopy (production 10/83 so in the USA it would be a 84)
This was imported from Australia several months ago and will be titled in Colorado
I really don't want to see it go but I'm not using it for what I thought I would and my family always wants to take the 80 series so I mainly have been driving this to work and around town
I'm working on getting it titled and should have that complete in the next couple of weeks
It runs fantastic and could be used as a daily driver
It has the stock 2H diesel and I have figured out around 22mpgs
Everything works great except for the horn including the intermittent wipers!
The interior is in great condition other than a tear in the driver seat
All windows are in good working order
4x4 works great
It has some minimal surface rust here and there but nothing major at all
It has disc brakes on the front that work great and it drives very smooth at 60 MPH all day long
It has a power take off winch but needs the drive gear that attaches from the engine to the winch
Heater works well
It has 4 good tires in pretty good shape 32x11.5 BFG ATs
It has new headers that were installed in Australia
Mileage is unknown as the odo does not work and I was told they replaced the whole cluster but still couldn't get it to work
All lights work except for the one over the license plate
It does leak some oil so that would need to be remedied as well as a small drip of brake fluid every now and then in the clutch slave cylinder
No rear seat
It has some rust by the gutters where there was a rack
I would be open to a partial trade for a FJ40 and cash or just cash
