Still installed in a 1981 BJ60 - I have a good running 3B for sale. It is apparently "rebuilt" as claimed by the previous owner. The alternator appears to have been rebuilt as well (case is way too clean to be original).

The sale of the engine includes the following parts:

-Clutch and flywheel
-Starter and Alternator (12V)
-Edic motor

This engine does not have, or come with, a power steering pump or A/C brackets. It is possible to add these if you have the parts or want to fabricate mounts for them (I have Saginaw PS and OBA added to my BJ42 - it's not hard to do, it just takes a bit of time).

The compression numbers go like this:

1 - 540
2 - 525
3 - 515
4 - 510

Engine runs nicely, produces good power, and does not smoke abnormally. The water pump is seeping from the weep hole, but is otherwise smooth (needs seal or replacement - buyer is responsible for this or you can pay me to do it).

I will pull the motor from the vehicle, drain the fluids and strap it to a pallet for shipping. I will transport it to a (locally available) shipping dock of your choice or you can pick it up at my shop.

Price: $1500 obo (including pallet)

Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs. The engine is being sold "as is".

Location: Duncan, Vancouver Island, BC

PM me for more info.

Do you have any idea about mileage on this engine, how about pictures, when will you have it out and crated, does the oil pan have any leakage from rust? Thank you, Jim.

Please note that someone has dug up an advert that was posted in 2006, and it is now 2009.

This engine was sold locally a very long time ago. Ad would have been deleted if that function existed.
