1981 3b diesel mated to an sm 465 4spd chevy tranny, alternator is 12 volt,starter is 24volt as well as the glow plugs, comes with 24/12v series parallel switch,edic is removed,manual marked cable added for start/stop function, does not smoke unless extra fuel is added without need. runs strong and starts awesome even in well below zero temps.power steering is included but cobbled bracket is broke but useable.this is not a turbo engine and a turbo is not included for sale. motor is currently in a 1 ton jeep weighing 5300lbs with 40"boggers and has enough grunt to handle it .would prefer to sell both units but will seperate if need be. I will crate and ship in Canada or U.S. but buyer will pay shipping. this motor runs great and can be installed immediately for use.compression numbers can be taken if interested. being sold as is.$1600 for motor or best offer. $2000 with sm 465 tranny and adapters. located in Sault Ste. stock 3b bellhousing opened larger to accept the larger than toyota input bearing retainer from the sm465 trann. Uses stock toyota 3b pilot bearing.holes are retapped for 1/2" bolts for bellhousing to tranny. custom length and slightly modified input shaft and bearing retainer( both are chevy originals). uses stock release bearing for 3b and a jeep yj clutch disc(10 spline). it's all homebrewed ideas but it works great.
