1980 20r vacuum diagram

Hi,
My son and I just bought a 1980 toy 4x4. We rebuilt the carb and the truck starts but the idle keeps falling off and almost stalling. Its sounds good at high rpm though. I feel we may have hooked up a vacuum hose wrong but our manual shows all diagrams but this year. Can anyone post a vacuum diagram. FYI this is a california car.

check the FAQ

does the idle decrease when you cover the carb with your hand, like choking it?

if so its lean, and you have a vacuum leak.

one of the easiest things to check first is the PCV valve.
but the easiest of all things, above all, is the FAQ!!!!

Thanks for your post Wristy. I tried covering up the intake and no change. I checked the faq and saw nothing on the 20r.
