Woohoo, the DMV agent signed off on the VIN! Now I gotta send off the paperwork and get the title.

Success! I can confirm that the 71-73 long, angled jumpseats will fit in a 1978 with the roll bar using the bracket kit from Specter Off road and only minor modification.

Considering this thing already has 3 non-factory holes in the rear tub, 2 from rust and one from an antenna mount, I think drilling a few more for the rear seats in the top of each wheel well isnt going to hurt. I bent on the left armrest and pulled it back a little so it would rest on the wheel well. If I ever come across a pair of short jump seats for a decent price, Ill probably get them. But for now, I think this will work. Ive got more important things I have to budget for, like front seats!

Had an issue with my oil pressure readings, did some testing, and before I had even determined whether it was the gauge, the sender or actual low oil pressure!, I bought another sender.

Aftermarket or OEM? I had heard form my buddy Teddy at THC that they have been getting some new OEM parts that were defective right out of the box. I got lucky and found the best of all, NOS off ebay for $40...

So I screwed it in and oil pressure gauge springs to life with authority, sitting pretty in the normal range.
