For Sale 1978: 2F Rebuilt Engine - NEW/Zero Miles

I have a 1978 2f engine that I am selling. 1/2 through my build I went with a 3fe. $2000, ill have a hoist in my garage right now. Frisco Texas.

Here are the specs:
All parts vated cleaned by hand. Painted factory black.
Main: Polished
Cam: Polised
Pistons: New, 20over
New Lifters
All new bearings
New timing
New Oil Pump
Push Rods and Rocker Assy, vated and cleaned
New asin water pump

Timing cover, water pump, harmonic balancer aren't in the pictures. Bolts were replated zinc cad. Nice motor.

GOOD DEAL for a new 2F...I am in the midst of a 3FE love affair, myself. I just fired up my rebuilt 2F this morning after it sat for about a year. maybe 18-20K on it...it SOUNDED GREAT...and cost about 3400 bucks for those who might be considering this... GLWS.

I'm not super savy about the difference but I have an 85 fj60 I'm looking for a motor for. Will an earlier engine like yours work or are they different? Thx

The older engine doesn't have the 3 threaded holes where your power steering pump fastens.
